My name is Fatima Awil. I have just finished my 2nd year of studying Law and Human Rights. I was first introduced to activism in 2012 when I campaigned against FGM and all GBV with an organisation called FORWARD (I still do). I am also a co founder of a youth lead program (Youth For Change) which aim to end FGM and Child Marriage within a generation, through collaborations. In my free time I like to spend time with friends and family and catch up on my favourite shows :)
My name is Danielle and I'm very proud to be from the wonderful northern city of Liverpool! I'm currently working for the youth leadership charity, UpRising, as a Programme Coordinator. In my spare time I enjoy bouldering (a form of rock climbing) and trying to remember how to speak Spanish. I can't wait to be a part of the Campaign Bootcamp organising team, having attended Bootcamp 2 myself way way back in 2014.
As much as it's a cliche, attending Campaign Bootcamp 5 really did change a lot of things for me. Since then, I've worked as a Regional Campaign Manager for the Scottish Green Party and helped elect the youngest ever MSP. More importantly, I've a strong interest in campaigns for social justice and equality, really care about diversifying the campaign/organising sector and building effective solidarity networks.
