Confusing recruitment process

What happened: the recruitment process got a little confusing because we didn’t have a central place for all the information and Google Spreadsheets got confusing with the volume of applicants we had. In the end we actually invited 31 people, rather than 30. Luckily one dropped out so it was OK. We also didn’t have a list of stand-by applications in case someone dropped out.

What we’ve changed: we’re going to be much more deliberate about planning the logistics of the recruitment process next time to ensure this doesn’t happen again!
